"My husband and I had a wonderful time on our summer trip to Iceland with Gudrun and we appreciate all your efforts to make our tour so successful. We enjoyed the Icelandic people, natural wonders, culture, food, sagas, and camaraderie among the participants.."

"Rona ‘Ribbit’ Herman runs the popular Quilters Travel Blog ‘RONA THE RIBBITER’ where she encourages quilters to step out of their comfort zones and come alive! Originally from Louisiana, Rona has lived in 5 US states and traveled to nearly every corner of the country and international.
In 2010 Rona finally learned to quilt and took to it like moths to a flame. Today, along with all her travel adventures, she’s also a quilt pattern designer, quilting teacher and budding quilting travel book author. From quilt shows to shop hops, the Golden State to the Big Apple and abroad, there’s no quilting adventure she’s not ready to take."
US Quilt Tours' operation is based in Simpsonville, South Carolina. We handle travel arrangements within the United States for both individuals and groups.
Here at U.S. Quilt Tours, our ideology is based on the belief that the “real” America is found off the beaten path – away from mass tourism. American history is not only found in Washington, D.C., but also in places like Indian Reservations, the Louisiana Cajun Country, the lands of the Amish in Pennsylvania to the quaint villages of New England. The spectacular nature attractions are an all important element on many of our tours, where visits to the National Parks are frequently incorporated.
Quilters from all over the world travel with us as individuals and in groups, to experience the camaraderie of fellow travelers that have a common interest in the art and craft of quilting.
"The whole idea is to travel well, in a comfortable manner; that you enjoy quality accommodations and meals; that you share experiences at each destination with fellow travelers who share your interests and passion."
