Find Quilting Inspiration From the Comfort of Your Home
Sometimes spending hours and hours stuck at home can leave a person lacking in creative stimulus. Unless of course you’re lucky enough to live in a truly inspirational setting. As for the rest of us, we need to find quilting inspiration wherever (and whenever) we can, even virtually!
With the majority of the world on lock down, many museums and other travel destinations from all over the world have made it possible to explore their collections and attractions from the comfort of your desktop. Here are just a few of the best Virtual tours from around the world and beyond!
The Louvre
Get creative quilt inspiration while you take a walk through the Louvre in France! In this tour you can literally explore the entire museum, room by room. Want to get a close up of a painting or sculpture? Click on the little magnifying glass. Want to know more about the piece? Hover over the little question mark.
Make sure to have a translation dictionary handy, all the descriptions are in French. 😊 Voir le monde!

The Vatican Museum
One of my top destinations for quilt design inspiration is the Vatican in Rome. Whether you’re viewing the Sistine Chapel or the Room of the Chiaroscuri you’ll find yourself immersed in quilt designs and glorious artistry. From the floor to the ceilings, it’s sure to get that creative spark flowing!
