GET READY TO SHOP HOP!
There are several ways (and excuses) to visit awesome quilt shops. Many of them participate in the Row by Row Experience. You can learn more, and plan your trip by visiting their website HERE.
IT’S ALL ABOUT THE QUILT SHOPS!
No matter which part of the state you visit, there’s sure to be a Quilt shop near by. Here is the most up to date list of active quilt shops in Alaska.
***As I can’t be in every state at once, sometimes we don’t hear about changes to the shops right away. It’s ALWAYS a good idea to contact the shop before driving long distances to visit.

Sarah Lahm says
Thank you so much for letting me know! I always hate to see our quilt shops close. But I truly appreciate you helping me keep the lists updated!
Shari Targgart says
The Hibearnation Quilt and Gift Shop in Icy Strait Point. At least it was there in September 2014. We were on a Millenium Cruise Ship. The owners told us they were in Alaska during the summer months and September. Then they go back to state of Washington for the rest of the year. We always wanted to go back to Alaska but never made it.
Sarah Lahm says
Hi Shari, thank you for your comment! I did a quick google search to look into the shop you mentioned. I couldn’t find anything but I will keep looking and will update the list if need be.
Sally Dickinson says
Hi Shari,
You are missing Sitka – Abby’s Reflections and the Ben Franklins. Both are on Lincoln Street, almost across the street from each other.
Sarah Lahm says
Hello Sally! When I looked up Abby’s Reflections to get the full address, it listed the shop as permanently closed. Is this correct?
