How much does the US Heartland Quilt Tour cost?
tour price is $3495 per person
(Single Room Supplement: $950)
$300 Non-refundable Deposit required per person. Final payment due by April 13, 2026.

Rochelle Rice is a seasoned educator with a sense of humor that will have you in stitches for days. With 32 years of experience teaching Home Economics and her passion for fostering creativity and practical skills beyond the classroom, Rochelle has shared her expertise around the globe. As an international instructor, she has worked in Educator Preparations Programs on all seven continents, including a memorable stint stranded in Antarctica in 2020.
Today you can find Rochelle longarming, teaching how to make pet portraits and as cohost of the popular (and super fun!) podcast, Inappropriate Quilters, where she blends her humor and expertise to inspire quilters worldwide!

What forms of payment are accepted?
Rona the Ribbiter accepts Credit Card, Wire Transfer or Personal Check*.
*If paying by personal check, a partial Credit may apply.
Can I make payments?
Yes! Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance that can be made in scheduled installments. Final payment due April 12, 2026.
I am traveling alone. Do I need a roommate?
Traveling alone? Not to worry! We will work with you to match a roommate for your tour. Many of our past matches have gone on to become life long friends! Simply contact us for more information.
If you still require a single room, the $950 supplement will be added to your US Heartland Quilt Tour total cost.
Can I bring my spouse?
YES! While there is a lot of crafting things involved in this tour, it’s not limited to just quilters. Spouses are more than welcome to enjoy the many attractions at each destination!
Is there a discount for non quilters?
There is no discount or special price for those who choose not to participate in a quilting workshop or other activity on the tour program.
What’s not included?
Not included in the price of the US Heartland Quilt Tour are:
- Airfare to and from Kansas City International airport in Kansas City, Missouri.
- Travel Insurance
- Meals other than listed above.
- Alcoholic beverages.
- Baggage fees charged by airlines.
- Tips or gratuities to guides / drivers / porters / hotel or restaurant staff
Rona the Ribbiter Cancellation Policy
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in a costly process, plus a loss of revenue if time does not permit resale of the lost reservation. The following fees apply to offset these costs., no exceptions.
- 90+ days prior to departure – cancellation of non-refundable deposit of $300
- 89 to 60 days prior to departure – cancellation fee of 80% of tour price
- 59 to 0 days prior to departure – cancellation fee of 100% of tour price
In the event of cancellation by the tour operator, all payments received from tour participants will be refunded.
