Welcome to Wyoming!

When I was a kid I loved the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Something about Richard Dreyfuss building the Devil’s Tower out of mashed potatoes stuck with me. Finally, on our cross country trek moving from the Washington State to North Carolina my dream of seeing the great Devil’s Tower in person became a reality. It was definitely worth the wait!

To be honest, there’s really no bad place to visit in Wyoming. Between the Devil’s Tower, Yellowstone National Park, the great Tetons and many more, this state has something for everyone, including us Quilters!

With only about 3 dozen quilt shops, they are a little spread out. However, making the drive between them is what the adventure is all about.

The Devil’s Tower! – I was able to check this off my bucket list in 2012!
