The Jewel of Rock Hill!
Here in the Carolina’s, we’re pretty lucky to have an abundance of quilt shops. However, the town of Rock Hill, South Carolina stood out as in dire quilt shop need. That was until Lisa from SewEndipitous decided to bring her online store into a brick and mortar quilt shop.
When you grow up surrounded by generations of quilters, it stands to reason that you might become a quilter yourself. Well, Lisa Baker, owner of SewEndipitous Quilt Shop in Rock Hill, SC took her family’s tradition to a whole other level.
After opening her online quilt store in 2018, having a full brick and mortar was always the goal. However, this gorgeous shop came about 10 + years earlier than expected. After all, having more fabric than actual living space can get a bit overwhelming.
So, at the end of 2021 when the perfect location became available, Lisa jumped all in. And we quilters get to reap the benefits!!

Lisa Baker is the reason I started quilting 2 years ago. We worked together for years and she would always tell me I should take up quilting. My grandmother worked in a cotton mill all her life and made quilts that were the warmest and most comforting thing in my memories of her. I was able to visit Lisa’s shop last week. It was my first visit to a real quilt shop during COVID times. I am hooked and signed up for an EPP class this Saturday. I will be able to sew even while traveling and camping. Grandma’s quilts have outlived her and thanks to Lisa, mine will too!
